The Customer Service Representative III will be responsible for the daily support of all sales activity for top 20 accounts in key industry markets and regional geography. The individual will be the liaison between the Sales Managers, customers, and the manufacturing plant. The individual will be responsible for providing "industry leading" service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete understanding of our products and services, and the ability to communicate these to customers and prospects.
  • Serve as the main plant contact for Customers and Sales Managers.
  • Process and maintain all information associated with a customer order, including sales order, freight estimates, return authorizations, estimated shipping dates, etc.
  • Work with shipping and scheduling to prioritize orders and follow orders through the production process until shipment.
  • Support Accounts Receivable in the collection and management of outstanding accounts.
  • Update customer contact information in contact management software on an as needed basis.
  • Initiate outbound telephone and email contact to key target accounts in coordination with Sales Managers.
  • Customize reporting and managing for the top key accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • Four year (4) Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred or equivalent experience:
    • Five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership experience, customer service, or account management.
    • Or, combination of education and experience.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be a self- starter with high initiative and ability to work independently
  • Proven leadership abilities, i.e., coaching employees for success, completion of formalized leadership training is a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects to meet deadlines
  • Must be very adaptable to manage changes in priorities
  • Must be an active "change agent" for the organization very flexible for changing environment
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, manufacturing systems (IQ MS preferred)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
